Social media influencer, Faryal Makhdoon and her husband worldwide boxer, Amir Khan have stepped in to assist the household of Zohra Shah, the eight-year-old who was crushed to dying by her employers. In an Instagram story, Makhdoom revealed that she and Khan have been involved with Zohra’s father and warranted him that none of his different daughters must work.
“Amir and I have personally contacted Zohra’s father and hoping to speak to him shortly. Thank you to everyone… especially the lawyers, barristers and human rights activists who are supporting us,” she wrote in her Instagram story.
When followers grilled her on why Zohra was despatched to work by her household, she introduced forth the household’s aspect of the story. “Loads of messages asking why they sent their 8-year-old daughter to work.. they didn’t,” Faryal defined in a second submit.
“The daddy has advised us he has 6 children… the daddy despatched the daughter (Zohra Shah) to Islamabad along with her Khala (aunty) to check there. The khala then put Zohra Shah to work… the place she was crushed to dying.”
The couple have began a little one safety fund in honour of Zohra that goals to guard youngsters in Pakistan from any form of abuse.
