JERUSALEM – German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas says his nation and its European companions have severe considerations over Israel’s plans to annex elements of the occupied West Financial institution.
Talking in a joint press convention along with his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi in Jerusalem, he mentioned annexation wouldn’t be appropriate with worldwide regulation.
The annexation plan has come underneath harsh criticism from a few of Israel’s closest allies, together with Germany, who say that unilaterally redrawing the Center East map would destroy any lingering hopes for establishing a Palestinian state and reaching a two-state peace settlement.
