Speaking concerning the ban on providing congregational prayers in mosques, the chief minister stated this was a tough choice and was taken with a heavy coronary heart.

“This decision has been taken after proper consultation with ulema of different schools of thought and other stakeholders,” he stated and added that the choice was aimed toward saving individuals from native transmission.

Mr Shah stated that he provided Friday prayers at his residence. “At home I kept following the Imam of our mosque who was leading the Juma prayers in the mosque on loudspeaker and we should all follow such observance,” he stated.

Mr Shah directed the provincial police chief to additional tighten the lockdown and never enable individuals transferring right here and there with none strong cause.
