The Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the schedule of the ICC U19 Males’s Cricket World Cup 2024, which can be performed in Sri Lanka from 13 January to four February.
A complete of 16 groups are set to compete for the coveted trophy, that includes the 11 best-placed Full Member groups on the final version and 5 groups who earned their World Cup spot via regional qualification pathways – Namibia, Nepal, New Zealand, Scotland and the USA.
Hosts Sri Lanka will face Zimbabwe within the opening sport of the match on January 13 on the R Premadasa Worldwide Cricket Stadium, whereas 2022 finalists England will play Scotland at Colombo Cricket Membership and New Zealand face off in opposition to Nepal on the P. Sara Oval on the identical day.
Defending champions India will kick off their marketing campaign in opposition to the winners of the U19 World Cup 2020 Bangladesh on January 14 on the R Premadasa Worldwide Cricket Stadium.
