“Morality police have nothing to do with the judiciary and have been abolished,” Iran’ Lawyer Normal Mohammad Jafar Montazeri was quoted as saying late Saturday by the ISNA information company.
Formally referred to as the Steering Patrol, the police unit used to watch behavioural actions at main intersections and roads within the Iranian cities.
