LAHORE – Lahore Improvement Authority (LDA) City Planning Zone II & III workers on Tuesday sealed 40 properties in Gulberg and Allama Iqbal City throughout an operation towards defaulters of commercialization charges.

In keeping with LDA spokesperson, the Authority has accelerated its restoration marketing campaign towards defaulters of commercialization payment to generate income for improvement works of Lahore. A complete of 180 million are to be recovered as commercialization payment from these properties.

The defaulters had earlier been issued notices for making cost of commercialization charges. Nevertheless, on non-payment of charges by the due date and unauthorized industrial actions at residential properties, the sealing operation was carried out towards these buildings.

Lahore Improvement Authority (LDA) City Planning Wing Zone-IV workers on Tuesday demolished buildings of unlawful building and unauthorized industrial use within the areas of Shadab Colony, Gajjumatta Cease Ferozepur Street and Kahna Kacha Street.

In keeping with LDA spokesperson, the Authority demolished shutters of illegally constructed store at Plot No. 66-A, whereas under-construction unlawful outlets had been demolished on Plot No. 74-A and 86-A Shadab Colony.

The shutters of an unlawful building had been dismantled at Gajjumatta Cease. The unlawfully constructed pillars had been dismantled at Kahna Kachha Street, whereas an unlawful constructing was sealed at Kahna Nau Cease.
