RIYADH: Ballistic missiles have been intercepted on Saturday within the sky above Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh and the southern metropolis of Jazan, state media reported, citing its personal sources and the Saudi-led coalition combating in Yemen.
Residents in Riyadh reported a number of blasts round 2320 (2020 GMT), adopted by emergency automobile sirens in some northern districts.
The supply of the projectiles was unclear and there was no fast declare of accountability.
