ISLAMABAD — The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in collaboration with the Pakistan Air Pressure organised PSF Combaxx Worldwide Squash Event for Males at Mushaf Squash Advanced in Islamabad from August 24-28.
As many as 24 squash gamers from Egypt, Malaysia, Iran and Pakistan participated within the mega occasion, which had a prize cash of $12,000, in line with a press launch.
The ultimate of the occasion was performed on Sunday. Air Marshal Zulfiqar Ahmed Qureshi, HI(M), Deputy Chief of the Air Employees (Coaching), Pakistan Air Pressure, graced the closing ceremony as chief visitor and awarded trophies and prize cash to the finalists.
Lauding the PSF for offering international-standard coaching and training amenities to gamers, the chief visitor reiterated that the PAF and the PSF would proceed to sponsor proficient younger gamers in addition to making concerted efforts to assist the nation regain its glory on the planet squash.
The ultimate was performed between Pakistani gamers Nasir Iqbal and Noor Zaman by which Nasir Iqbal clinched the title of PSF Combaxx Worldwide Squash Event for Males.
He defeated Noor Zaman with a recreation rating of 3-0 (11-7, 11-7 and 11-6) in 33 minutes and received the championship finals.
