The Oil and Fuel Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has put a proposal to hike costs of all the main POL merchandise within the nation,, citing sources.
Sources aware of the event mentioned that the OGRA has despatched a abstract to the petroleum division in search of a rise within the gasoline costs from January 16.
The OGRA has proposed a rise of Rs11.95 paisa on per litre of petrol, whereas Rs9.57 paisa on per litre of diesel. The ultimate determination could be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan after session with the finance ministry.
Earlier on January 1, the federal government hiked the value of petrol by Rs2.31 per litre throughout Pakistan.
