Pakistan’s squad for ICC U19 World Cup introduced

Wicket-keeper-batter Saad Baig will lead the 15-player Pakistan U19 squad within the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, which can be performed from 19 January to 11 February, 2024 in South Africa.

Among the many squad are Ali Asfand and Mohammad Zeeshan, each of whom had represented Pakistan within the earlier version of U19 World Cup held in West Indies in January-February 2022.
Pakistan U19 squad – Saad Baig (captain and wicketkeeper), Ali Asfand (vice-captain), Ali Raza, Ahmad Hassan, Amir Hassan, Arfat Minhas, Azan Awais, Haroon Arshad, Khubaib Khalil, Mohammad Zeeshan, Naveed Ahmed Khan, Shahzaib Khan, Shamyl Hussain, Muhammad Riazullah and Ubaid Shah.
Chairman Junior Choice Committee Sohail Tanvir mentioned: “I need to congratulate the 15 gamers who’ve made it into the squad for South Africa and I’m assured that this well-balanced facet has the aptitude and potential to carry out properly within the World Cup.
“While picking the team, we have considered the conditions in South Africa where the pitches are conducive to pace bowling and have aimed to cover all bases.”
Help workers – Shoaib Mohammad (Workforce Supervisor), Mohammad Yousaf (Head Coach), Rehan Riaz (Bowling Coach), Mansoor Amjad (Fielding Coach), Muhammad Masroor (Assistant Batting Coach), Umer Rashid Dar (Assistant Coach), Hafiz Naeem Ul Rasul (Workforce Physio), Usman Hashmi (Workforce Analyst) and Imran Ullah (Energy & Conditioning Coach).
The gamers named within the squad will assemble for a coaching camp, which is able to happen from 28 December 2023 to six January 2024 in Lahore.
