PBC assails ‘kidnapping’ of Sindh police IG

ISLAMABAD: The Pak­istan Bar Council (PBC), the highest regulatory organisation of legal professionals, on Thursday took sturdy exception to the reported kidnapping of the inspector normal of Sindh police from his residence allegedly by companies.

In a joint assertion, PBC vice chairman Abid Saqi, PBC member and president of the Supreme Courtroom Bar Affiliation (SCBA) Syed Qalb-i-Hassan and PBC government committee chairman Azam Nazeer Tarar regretted that as reported members of intelligence companies allegedly compelled the Sindh IG to challenge orders for arrest of retired Capt Mohammad Safdar, the husband of PML-N vp Maryam Nawaz.
