ISLAMABAD: {Foreign Minister} Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday stated individuals must be persuaded intellectually on the difficulty of limiting congregational prayers at mosques.
A notification issued by provincial governments early Friday said that underneath Part (2) of The West Pakistan Epidemic Illness Act 1958, solely three to 5 individuals, designated for Masjid [Mosque], can be allowed supply prayers in congregation and most people would supply prayers at properties.

“Merely taking out a notification would not resolve the issue of restricting congregational prayers at mosques,” FM Qureshi stated. “People have to be convinced intellectually. All religious scholars also agreed that it should be avoided.”
The overseas minister confused that essential choices, together with the protection of well being staff, had been made in yesterday’s assembly whereas steps had been taken for higher coordination between the federal and provincial governments.
“[Testing] machines have been ordered in order to increase the testing capacity of coronavirus,” FM stated.
