The federal authorities has determined to extend the value of petrol by Rs10 per litre for the following 15 days, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar introduced Saturday.
In a press release, the Finance Division stated the rationale behind a hike within the value of petroleum merchandise was the “increase in petroleum prices in the international market and exchange rate variation”.
Petrol’s value has been elevated to Rs282 per litre, whereas high-speed diesel and light-weight diesel oil charges will stay steady at Rs293 per litre and Rs174.68 per litre, respectively, the assertion from the Finance Division learn.
Nevertheless, a rise of Rs5.78 per litre has been made to the value of kerosene oil, transferring it from Rs180.28 per litre to Rs186.07 per litre.
