ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Basis for Arts, Tradition and Training (FACE) launched nation’s first music residency programme, Heritage Stay. It goals to equip indigenous artists with the enterprise acumen and focuses on talent improvement. The programme will assist the weak musicians to generate sustainable earnings and play a pivotal function in preserving the endangered native tradition.
The opening ceremony of the Artwork Residency Programme was held at Lok Virsa – Nationwide Institute of People and Conventional Heritage on Sunday. The Residency began from August 16, 2020 and can finish on September 02, 2020 at Lok Virsa Islamabad. Twenty indigenous musicians have been chosen for the programme. Ten maestros and 10 apprentices will undergo an intensive coaching programme by 4 mentors and end with every pair recording a tune. 4 thematic areas will probably be lined by way of the coaching primarily, musical coaching, enterprise coaching, character improvement and technological abilities.
