Adviser to Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Engineer Ameer Muqam offered a cheque for Rs10 million to veteran artiste Firdous Jamal on Wednesday for his most cancers therapy.
Legendary artist Khalid Abbas Dar informed Daybreak that the cheque was offered to Jamal at his residence on the Park View Society.
Mr Dar stated possession of artiste group by the federal government was a goodwill gesture. He stated although Jamal had not requested for cash from the federal government, it was a sort gesture by the PM.
