Director-Normal ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar shared the track on Twitter and mentioned it’s a tribute to the courageous folks of Kashmir and their relentless battle for freedom.
The title of the track is ‘Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi’ (Depart my Valley) and begins with the clock ticking that marks 365 days since August 5, 2019, when India had put Kashmiris underneath lockdown. The track is sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali.
The track highlights the sufferings of Kashmiris, Kashmir rebellion and human rights violations by Indian occupation forces in Occupied Kashmir.
August fifth, 2020 marks one 12 months of abrogation of Article 370 and lockdown and curfew in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
